Tapestry, a community daytime handbell quartet sponsored by Monumental, enjoys sharing their ministry, musical talents, and love for the Lord. Formed in July 2001, Tapestry presented their first concert in December 2001, and has become quite popular, giving numerous concerts in southeastern Virginia. The ensemble is the recipient of the 2003 Ruth Morse Wilson Handbell Award from the National Federation of Music Clubs. Tapestry, like the different fabrics and types of threads, reflects a great variety of talents, interests, and music, and blend their gifts together to form an interwoven texture of music to glorify God. Members of the ensemble are: Cindy Lewis, Ann Morgan, Charm Peterman, and Marjorie Setnicky.
